In the modern world of aviation and hospitality, strong communication skills are just as important as technical knowledge. Employers look for staff who can interact well with customers, understand their needs, and adapt to changing situations. LinkIt Aviation Academy's Personality Development & Soft Skills program helps students develop these important qualities. As a new school, we focus on combining practical experience with theory, ensuring students are ready to work professionally and create excellent industry standards from day one.
Our curriculum is crafted in partnership with leading airlines and travel organizations to ensure that students are learning the most up-to-date practices in the air ticketing and reservations industry. From dynamic pricing to customer service excellence, our program prepares students for the evolving demands of the travel sector.
Our instructors bring years of experience from top global airlines and travel agencies. They combine theoretical knowledge with real-world insights, ensuring students receive practical, industry-relevant training that will help them excel in their careers.
We offer comprehensive placement training to equip students with the skills to excel in job interviews and stand out in the competitive job market. Our dedicated placement assistance team works closely with each student, helping them find job opportunities and ensuring a smooth transition from classroom learning to their professional careers.
Public Speaking and Advanced Communication
Learn voice projection, pacing, convincing narration, and advanced storytelling. Students refine
elevator pitches, formal and impromptu speeches, and other relevant cabin announcements, boardroom
meetings, and customer-facing skill sets.
Emotional Intelligence & Resilience Training
Learn to identify, manage, and leverage emotions–yours and those of others–with theory blended into
practice in workshops. Focused on stress management, adaptability, and encouraging positive feedback
loops, this module helps professionals navigate emotionally charged situations (flight diversions, full
occupancy weekends at hotels).
Cross-Cultural Sensitivity and Communication
As a global industry, learn cultural norms, nonverbal communication, and social customs from various
regions. Practicals include guiding passengers through languages they do not speak and catering to
guests with culturally preferred diets while avoiding inadvertent faux pas.
Soft Skills: Building Critical Thinking in Real-World Contexts
Students learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the context of fictitious airline
disruption events (for example, weather-induced delays) and hotel overbooking crises. They form
cross-functional teams called 'crisis management cells' and devise various solution strategies, drawing
on knowledge from all relevant disciplines.
Digital Customer Relations & Corporate Social Media
With recruitment and guest engagement evolving to digital platforms, as well as in-flight participation,
students practice best LinkedIn networking, review responding, and professional distance upholding on
social media. In other classes, they learn how to write short, polite email replies to customer
inquiries and internal communications.
Communication Workshops & Peer Feedback Sessions
Every student takes part in weekly workshops where they present, for example, a premium airline offering
product pitch or a hotel event proposal, to their colleagues and faculty. Prompted peer assessment based
on preset criteria (clarity, articulation, and engagement) improves skills almost instantly.
Interactive Role Play Simulation Games
Through physical mockups of check-in counters or hotel reception desks and VR scenarios, learners
interact with and portray complex passengers such as refund-furious customers or first-time flyers
requiring detailed explanations of the boarding process. These simulations assess adaptability,
listening skills, diplomatic conflict management, and other forms of active experiences.
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Programs
All students complete a four-week internship at a designated airline, airport lounge, or hospitality
property. They accompany guest relations teams, participate in leadership huddles, and perform monitored
basic interactions, applying soft skills in real-world settings.
